Laura has wanted to be an actor since she was 12 years old. She's originally from Brazil, where she grew up and studied filmmaking. Her family always believed in her talent and that she should follow her dreams.
After graduating in film school back home, she decided to do her post graduation at UCLA, in Entertainment Studies, where she fell in love with acting after doing some classes that inspired her to follow her real passion. One of the teachers/mentors that pushed her forward is Marc Aden Gray, Australian actor that saw Laura's potential. After UCLA, she decided to go further and - to develop her craft - she applied for the prestigious The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, where she has recently graduated after completing the 2 year conservatory program.
Laura went back to Los Angeles, the City of Angels, to work on some projects as short films and commercials in April 2016 until December 2016 and went back to New York City until March 2017.
In April 2017, Laura came back to Brazil to prepare herself for the feature movie "The Furnace", directed by the oscar nominee Darell Roodt (who worked with great actors such as Whoopi Goldberg and Patrick Swayze). The movie will be set in South Africa - March & April 2018 - and it's produced by Phoenix Films. The release date is for the end of 2018. Laura will play a supporting lead role, Rafaela, and work with other actors such as the American actress Jamie Bernadette and Luthuli Dlamini.
